Poem of a Wise Man

Swallows,
like nymphs and children,
can catch a midsummer breeze
and frolic

on the lightest wind.

And in a good autumn gust
even the ravens
put aside their Nevermores
to play with Elsewhere

for a while.

But today
the winds blew so hard
that three vultures
over a field of last year's stubbled corn,
set aside their slow circling
mortal cycle
to dance

Sword

So, I have mad a lot of progress on my sword. I finished forging the hand gaurd, but I will grind and sand it down so it looks better. Next up is the pommel, as soon as I get the metal for it. If anyone has a welder they would let me use, please let me know about it!!! I need to weld the cross gaurd on. If anyone has any questions on how I did this, or on forging in general, just post a comment or email me!!!
